Today marks 25 years since the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States. The tragedy of that day continues to leave a profound impact on the hearts and lives of the American people — as vivid and heartbreaking now as it was that morning.
While the magnitude of such horrific acts remains difficult to fully comprehend, and while the pain may never be fully erased, we find solace in remembering the remarkable acts of heroism and international solidarity witnessed on that fateful day.
As the preeminent organization representing the Turkish-American community, the Assembly of Turkish American Associations (ATAA) honors the memory of all those who lost their lives on September 11 and extends its deepest sympathies to their families, friends, and loved ones.
